5. Hosting
This website is hosted by an external service provider. The personal data collected on this website is stored on the hosting provider's servers.
The hosting provider is Strato AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. Servers are located in Germany. A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) has been concluded with the hosting provider.

6. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses technically necessary local storage required for the operation of the site, for example to store your theme preference and privacy choices. These preferences are not used for marketing purposes.
Optional analytics are managed through the self-hosted Klaro consent tool. Analytics remain disabled until you consent. You can change your choice at any time through the privacy settings link in the footer.
6a. Optional analytics
If you consent, we load Plausible Analytics from plausible.partiqon.com. Plausible is designed to work without cookies and is used only to understand aggregated website usage such as page views and referrers.
The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time through the consent settings.

If you sign up via our waitlist form, we collect your email address. We use this data solely to notify you when access to partiqon becomes available to you.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (a pre-contractual measure taken at your request). This data is deleted once the purpose of storage no longer applies (e.g., after your access is activated or upon your withdrawal) and no statutory retention obligations apply.
8. Disclosure of data to third parties
We do not transfer your personal data to third parties for purposes other than those stated. We only share your personal data with third parties if:
- you have given your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR),
- disclosure is necessary to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR),
- there is a legal obligation to disclose the data (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), or
- this is legally permitted and necessary for the performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), for example toward technical service providers (processors) engaged as part of data processing on our behalf.
9. Data retention
Unless a more specific retention period is stated within this privacy policy, your personal data remains with us until the purpose for processing no longer applies. Where statutory retention periods apply (e.g., for commercial or tax reasons), deletion takes place after these periods expire.
10. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of your browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock icon in your browser bar.
